Feedback Unit 6 (Unit 5 review)

Unit five's topic covered complementary medicine, and the group I chose to evaluate was group three who researched adult women. The topic of choice was anxiety and the complementary approach was mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy.     The use of headings was pleasing to the eye and allowed readers to grasp what topic they could expect to be covered. The use of infographics and videos was well done, especially the video from Holland Hospital. YouTube can present much information, but knowing it's from an  accredited facility and from medical personnel adds a level of trustworthiness to the media being presented. The use of in-text citations also appears to be correct. I especially enjoyed the infographics on mindfulness meditation and it's benefits as I have been a mindfulness meditator for nearly a decade and have reaped massive benefits from it.      I felt that some sentences were difficult to understand in regards to how t...

Unit 5 Assignment (unit 4 feedback)

Hi Vibha!      I decided to review you and your groups page for unit four conventional medicine. Your blog post hits close to home because my mom has a rare heart defect in addition to A-fib. In your post you mentioned that A-Fib increases the risk of having a stroke, and my mom did have a TIA (transient ischemic attack) a couple years after being diagnosed with this rare heart defect at the age of 47.  I have always been a big supporter for cardiac health especially in women and attending the Heart Walk every year that is hosted by the American Heart Association.     Overall, I found your blog page very informative, easy to follow with your headings/subheadings, and not overwhelming to look at. Everything that I read flowed easily and I did not have difficulty understanding the information that was presented. You included all the elements required and I did not come across any spelling or grammatical errors. In addition to the writing, the images and...

Feedback unit 3

Hi Vibha,  Upon first just scrolling throughout the webpage, the title "Golden Girls" caught my eye, so simple yet draws in the reader to want to know more about what you will be talking about within that paragraph. Your website included detailed information about the older years of women and provided educational videos and infographics. I love that you included the infographic about depression, reading about it isn't always the best as it pertains to mental health but providing things such as infographics with vibrant colors makes me want to read and learn more.  I feel as a women we go through so much emotions but are very good at masking it with a smile, as mothers play so many roles in their children and families lives. The infographic that provided a visual view of how much more women experience depression compared to men, following up with other infographics about preventable measures and techniques all tied in well with the information being provided. My only crit...

Feedback Unit 3

Hi Vibha, I enjoyed navigating through your group’s late adulthood webpage, it was very informative and taught me a few things about what the women in this stage of life deal with from a psychosocial stance. I like how you separated your sections with subheadings and your information into manageable paragraphs, making it easier to follow along and digest the information. The infographic selections were also ideal, because they weren’t just random, but were also very informative. The thing that I loved the most about your webpage was how you not only provided information of the struggles that are faced, but you also provided solutions for those issues.               However, I do have a few suggestions that may help for the next assignment. There were a few grammatical errors throughout. It seemed to be simple mistakes (it’s was used instead of is), so proofreading before submitting would be great. I also noticed...
